Thank you 🙂
Such incredibly beautiful paintings…..and I’m going to join you in the bluebells as a nymph 🙂
I meant to reply to your lovely comment, but I’m not sure I did it properly! Anyway, you’re most welcome to join the party in the bluebell wood 🙂
A beautiful image, Rachael. The wood nymph symbolising a joining with nature, whilst the ‘cloud of bluebells’ a sea which will lead towards enlightenment. A lovely poem!
Thanks, Chris. Haiku do allow such simple, powerful imagery!
yeah! me too! 🙂
I had you and Chloe in mind as I wrote it 🙂
What a delightful celebration of spring! I love the playful tone of this haiku, and such a beautiful painting to accompany it. Bluebells are such gorgeous flowers–even I’d be tempted to dance among them. 🙂
Thank you. Inspired by it being a very spring like day today – which means it’s going to snow tomorrow…
Somewhere I have a long red silky dress which would be perfect to dance in 🙂
I’d love to be a wood nymph, dancing in your beautiful Bluebell wood. 🙂
You’d be most welcome. I think it would be quite a party! 🙂
Wow, Rachael. Thank you for this feast of loveliness: a cloud of bluebells, wood nymphs and bare feet dancing on that cloud among the trees. I’m in! Topped off by that spectacular word “transmute.” Thank you for the inspiration. On another note, I am chagrined and surprised that this post, along with several others from recent days, do not reflect my pressing the “like” button in my reader :). Yikes-what happened?!#^! My apologies….xo
I sometimes forget to press the ‘like’ button too! I thought you’d like this one. You were in my head when I wrote it xx
Beautiful! And I think I’d become a wood nymph too, tempted by those lovely flowers. 🙂
Tee hee! Thank you. Woods are magic places, aren’t they?
