So pleased you liked it. I’ve been finding flowers in my books of late, and can never remember why I put them there…

Done that just recently – a four leafed clover my mum had me put in a Bible long before I became an atheist. Beautiful, reflective words.

This one really resonated with me, Rachael, because I used to do this. Someone would give me a rose or other beautiful flower, and I would press the petals into the pages of a book, only to open that book years later and see the petals scatter to the floor, and try to remember where they came from, and what occasion prompted me to save them.
Yes, that’s what I was aiming for. The flowers as a metaphor for our lives comprising of an apparent random collection of events (dried flowers), that we can’t quite recall, and don’t quite make sense…
