This pairing of words and imagery is nothing short of sublime, Rachael. I love how you’re able to add so much description–“lone” frog, and “old mill” pond. I absolutely adore that painting.
Thank you, dear friend. There’s an old millpond near my house which looks pretty stagnant, so I thought I’d put a frog in it… 🙂
