from darkness to light –
just canvas and paint

as profound as beautiful, I would tend to prefer “from darkness to light”, but I am not the author 🙂 as usual beautiful picture, I love painting, and I like to restore damaged paintings: your poem makes me willing to write something about! Have a beautiful Sunday dear Rachael 🙂
YES – how could I have thought that, Frederic? An expression of how I thought my life was going. But I was wrong!
Restoring paintings must be very satisfying. In my terrace we have three painters ( I am one), and two picture restorers and framers. A colourful place to live. Have a lovely day. The fresh autumnal air calls 🙂
Beautifully expressed, Rachael.
Thank you, Chris. I do appreciate your comments – I know how hard it can be to say much about a haiku – it moves one or it doesn’t. Take care.
[…] thanks to my friend Rachael for giving me the idea to write about painting […]
I love this Rachael! The piling up of images is beautiful 🙂
Thank you. A lot of Richter’s work lends itself to making haiku stories 🙂
Always a good direction … 🙂
I actually got it the other way around on first draft… 🙂
I’d prefer it as it is now … 🙂
