I love how your poetry often tells an underlying story, Rachael. (Or maybe that’s my writer mind trying to weave a story into what I read. 😛 ) I’m glad you stepped out of your comfort zone here–I find that’s often when we write our best work.
Ha. I think it’s the storyteller in both of us! I love capturing moments in time. Often wondered whether a novel could be made up completely of them 🙂
