last night’s argument

Well put, Rachael, and so true – it’s amazing how stepping outside (figuratively speaking) can give us a much more objective view of things.
Yes. Stepping outside is sometimes like leaving the monkey mind behind 🙂
And thank you.
A new day, fresh and clean, holds much promise, doesn’t it? Beautifully written.
What a lovely sentiment. I’ll remember that!
Beautiful words of release, Rachael.
Thanks, Hanne. Such a simple idea, and so often so difficult to do 🙂
You are so right on that one 🙂 And as your poem shows, it’s worth the effort to aim towards that simplicity, even if it’s a complex road to get there…
Wonderful poem – and, yes, thought difficult to do, we all need a walk from the mind at times.
Thank you, Laine. I went for a really whizzy cycle ride today. It was bright and cold and windy, and I went really fast- and that did the trick too 🙂
A ride from the mind works too lol!
I love the line
“last night’s argument”… mysterious, evocative, beautiful…
Un poème et une photo avec un “je-ne-sais-quoi” de romanesque.
Thank you dear Rachael :-)♥
Thank you, Frederic. I like the idea you find it somehow ‘romanesque’, even though I do not quite understand 🙂
oh, I cannot explain… because it is a “je ne sais quoi” (I don’t know!) – maybe because I could imagine a whole and complex story from this simple line : “last night’s argument” – it sounds like the title of a novel! ♥
That is fine. the older I get, the more comfortable I am with the sentiment ‘je ne sais quoi’. Sometimes to understand is also to destroy something, or make it less than it is. Does that make sense?
This is beautiful.
Thank you. Happy you enjoyed it.
