Thank you. And welcome back 🙂
Thanks Rachel…..it is good to be back, but I’m missing all the wonderful bright light and warmth……today has been cold and damp in Scotland 🙂
It’s been raining for three days here virtually solidly so I understand. I don’t know about you but I need the rhythm of the four seasons…
the last line gives me the shivers – sounds like a parable about insouciance (I love this word, it’s the same in French). Great work as ever. I’m touched by this poem, for many reasons. Have a nice week dearest Rachael ♥
Insouciance. Slips over the tongue. This poem expresses how I feel sometimes. Floating along happily in this ‘out of the way’ rather lovely place, I choose to close my eyes to the brutality and violence spreading throughout our planet. It is okay to feel like this though…
Have a fine week. xx
Love the contrasting colours. Great shot sweet poem.
Thank you. Can only take credit for the poem! 🙂
