    I like how you build momentum here, Rachael….and it’s always so impressive that you can evoke things like stealth in so few words. The “soft tangling” hints and gathers into the breeze’s “skitter” and then BOOM! weather’s “whiteout.” Thank you for your artistry. xo

    I have never in all my 65 years come across the word “skitter” before. I have no idea why. It is the most wondrously beautifully descriptively onomatopoeic two syllables that capture the meaning of… the mean of… skitter… perfectly.
