That which triggers a memory – the finest thing
Thanks, Mike. An anniversary of her passing this week.
just a few words, and yet so very touching.
Thank you so much. That’s one of the things I love about haiku: it’s not so much the words used, but those spaces/silences in between..
Surprising, haunting…bringing tears to my eyes, and love to you
Thank you, dear friend. It’s bitter sweet. Love and hugs xx
Lilly of the valley ❤️
Very moving – stirred something very deep, captured something very precious in the way only good poetry can.
Just catching up having had a spell away. I marvel at how you keep up the quality – and whilst, sometimes, it is hard to say more than how much I appreciate your work, I, and I am sure many others, do.
Thank you, Geoffrey. A comment from time to time is always appreciated. Nice to have you back and for you to say I keep up the quality of writing. I don’t quite manage it sometimes as the inner censor nods off – but that’s okay! My best wishes to you both. R
