Miles from any water wider than a few feet, a heron circled our neighborhood just a few cold days ago. Was he early, off track, or both?
Pass. Maybe a mentally challenged heron… To be honest I didn’t know they migrated – ours in the UK tend not to.But I checked it out and most other variants do. I suppose his GPS must have been on the blink. They are magic creatures though. First time I saw one here I fell off my bike into the ditch 🙂
