Yikes, indeed! I remember having that look (far too often) 🙂

Look out for flying tiles :-0

A two foot long piece of lead came down in the front garden. Come this morning a thief had stolen it…

      • NEO says:

Lead? Why on earth would one steal lead? Heavy, not (at least here) worth very much, and poisonous as well. At least he has some enterprise in him, if not much sense. keep your eyes peeled, stuff coming off roofs hurts! :0

Lead must have some value here, Neo, as people traditionally/routinely steal it from church roofs! A thief stole a bush from my garden in December too. This sleepy, supposedly benign little town is morphing into something distinctly creepy…

Must have. We sometimes have that trouble with copper. Occasionally with fatal results, but lead, i’ve never heard of. But it’s easily available here for casting and such. A bush? Heavens! Doesn’t sound good, and it’s such a lovely looking place, that I’ve been known to envy you. Creepy indeed.

  • Great photo and I love the way you’ve written the poem.
