Just about a perfect poem–very nice. I even like the image, and I usually ignore the images because I’d rather just let the words bounce around inside my head.
I so get that about the images. I got into the habit early on in the blog of putting one up with whatever I was posting, then didn’t feel able to stop! Good to know that the haiku stand on their own – sometimes 🙂 And thank you.
I always enjoy your work, Rachael. I felt a lonely echo in this one.
