Beautiful work and words.
Thanks, Dan. It seems to induce either a Zen like state when it goes okay, or a total mad woman rave when things get in a tangle… 🙂
Are these your weavings Rachael, I know you said you’d been doing some – they’re beautiful.
I sat with a Saori weaver (a kind of Zen approach) some while ago, and these are some of the results. Pleased you like them 🙂
RACHAEL! I love everything about this oeuvre! The theme of playing, so important, so inspiring, so beautifully, texturally evoked in fabric and words. And of course “joy,” the heartbeat of the work here, and always. Brava! And thank you….xoxo
Yay – your joyful comment made my day! I’m so rediscovering colour and texture – feels a rather childlike process, so it must be good! Much love xxx
Thank you for your appreciation, Derrick.
