old house never noticed

Whoa. Just arrived here after penning a poem that suddenly wrote herself about “noticing.” We are on a similar wavelength, my faraway friend. Your poem is stunning…replete with the lightness of touch we both admire! Giving me goosebumps, along with the evocative image. Thank you for your wisdom and grace. Hoping things have quieted down a bit. xox
Aw, thank you for noticing what I was up to! I’d been reading some poetry by a little known haiku poet (at least in the UK), called Elizabeth Searle Lamb. I believe she’s North American. She writes a lot about Latin America, which is one of my passions. Anyway, this came out of the spirit of her writing: calm, understated, meditative. Hope you’re doing okay too. I’ve bunked out of some commitments to take a rest 🙂 have a good weekend. xxx
