This is poignant – brought a bit of a tear to my eye – loved the ambiguity and the sense of loneliness and not-loneliness/ Don’t know how you do it – but glad you do 🙂 xx
Thanks, Jess. Thinking of you much, and sending love to your dear light hearted spirit 🙂 xxx
Thank you – J explained it got caught – such a lovely poem – I do so enjoy your writing – love the story the other day too – when I was little I lived on a Welsh hill farm and had collies 🙂 xx
Ha. J was telling me over supper about you raising lamb and becoming a vegetarian. Snap 🙂
You too 🙂 xx
I mirror your feelings about lamb…
Sensitive and touching – nicely jandled, Rachael.
Perhaps a hard haiku to comment upon, Chris. So thank you 🙂
Possibly, but it touched me, and I think tjat you have said a lot with just a few words.
Sad – speaks of the loneliness that seems more prevalent in the world these days. Thank goodness for the companionship of a cat.
It does. The invisibility of older people, and the lack of respect they are shown says something very disturbing about our society…
This was so moving – so poignant – so many emotions distilled into such a powerful haiku – thank you 🙂 xx
