would you happen to know and be able to share with me on why there’s a hole there in the stone? Was it perhaps a space to hold up a gun barrel or something?
I don’t know much about them, but I expect there are numerous myths attached to them. All I know is that they were often called ‘wedding stones’. A couple would join hands through the hole either at their engagement or the wedding ceremony…
