Thank you! I live in an area where flax was once grown for the linen industry. One can still see the occasional field of that unmistakable blue 🙂
I didn’t realise it was grown for the linen industry. I occasionally see fields full of it and have wondered about its uses. 🙂
I don’t think it is grown here (east UK) for that purpose any longer. I assume these days the crop is grown for its oil 🙂
