Quite beautiful, Rachael, and I love the idea of adding something which is personal and physical to the quite dispassionate form on an email.
Glad you liked it, Chris. One of the more difficult tricks with haiku is the last line, which is supposed to shift the reader’s consciousness (without being totally off the wall). Your response means that I was at least some way to doing that. Hurrah!
It is a difficult skill which I feel you handle very effectively, Rachael: your work is always a joy to read ☺.
