on the edge of the darkness

I like the ambiguity of the ‘cry’, Rachael – is it through fear, want or perhaps epiphany? Makes me think…
That’s the best a poet can elicit in their reader, right? 🙂
I love the juxtaposition of the cry with the lightning that brings another element to the poem.
